VUB makes research on dinosaurs accessible
On December 19, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is organizing a gathering for everyone eager to learn more about dinosaurs. "Dinosaurs on campus" brings together researchers from the field, takes the audience on a journey through various eras, and unveils mysteries of the Earth's history.
During "Dinosaurs on campus", international paleontologists and dinosaur experts will provide explanations about the dinosaur kingdom through presentations. The evening promises to be a captivating exploration of fossils and other creatures from the geological past of the Earth. Additionally, the gathering provides dino enthusiasts and the curious with the opportunity to engage in conversations with this team of experts.
"We are delighted to present parts of our research to the general public and immerse them in bygone times," says Koen Stein, VUB paleontologist. "My colleagues and I will be happy to answer all questions during the evening, both about dinosaur research and what it entails to practice the profession of paleontologist."
In addition to lectures and meetings, VUB includes accompanying side activities. There will be three signing sessions, and the evening will be enhanced by live music performed by the harmonieorkest of the academy of Etterbeek in collaboration with the VUB Orchestra. Registration is free and can be done via this link.
