Camel-IDS, a spin-off company of VUB, appoints Ruth Devenyns as CEO

Friday, March 9, 2018 — Brussels, September 22, 2017. Camel-IDS, a privately held clinical stage radionuclide therapy company in oncology and spin-off company of VUB, today announces the appointment of Ruth Devenyns as Chief Executive Officer and director.

Most recently, Ruth was CFO of Ogeda, a biotech company acquired by Astellas in May 2017 in a EUR 800m transaction. Before joining Ogeda, Ruth worked for more than 20 years in the financial industry, both in healthcare investment banking (KBC Securities and Bank Degroof Petercam) as well as in healthcare venture capital (KBC and Korys). She was a director of the regional biotech industry association FlandersBio (2008-2016) and is currently an independent director of Euronext-listed MDxHealth.
